Beer Stein Making *with Hop Secret Brewery | All Levels | One-Time Workshop

$75.00

We've partnered with our friends at Hop Secret, Monrovia's very own microbrewery and tasting room — because makers should stick together :) They've got craft beer on tap, arcade machines, and free popcorn. Take your finished stein in and get your first pour for just $1.

Learn to make a functional beer stein in this one-time hand-building workshop. This single-session class lasts 2–3 hours and is open to all levels — no experience necessary. Join solo or bring friends for a relaxed, creative time at the studio. Spots are limited to 10 per class, so early booking is recommended if you'd like to attend with a group.

All materials and tools are provided. We recommend wearing clothes you don't mind getting a little muddy, or bringing your own apron.

Your finished stein will be glazed and fired by our team and ready for pickup in approximately 4-6 weeks.

A Note About the Process: Working with clay can be humbling and rewards patience and care. Our instructors will guide you through each step to help your pieces succeed, but pottery always carries a bit of mystery. While well-built pieces usually fire beautifully, the occasional surprise can still happen, and that's simply part of the process. Every potter, no matter their experience, has had pieces come out differently than planned. If that happens, we hope it encourages you to keep learning, refining your skills, and making more :)
