Halloween Pumpkin Making - Early Workshops in August!

$75.00

One of our most popular workshops and an annual tradition for our community!

Why Halloween projects in August, you ask?! Pottery is a slow process. Pieces need time to dry, then go through glazing and two separate firings before they're finished, so we have to work well ahead of the holiday to get pieces out in time. Pumpkins made by August 29th will be ready to enjoy for the Halloween season. (Classes booked after will not be guaranteed in time for the holiday.)

Spots are limited to 10 per class. Join solo or bring friends, but book early if you have a larger group.

All materials and tools are provided. We recommend wearing clothes you don't mind getting a little muddy, or bringing your own apron.

Classes start promptly, so arrive early for parking and check-in.

*For safety, we recommend using a battery-powered tealight.

A Note About the Process: Working with clay can be humbling and rewards patience and care. Our instructors will guide you through each step to help your pieces succeed, but pottery always carries a bit of mystery. While well-built pieces usually fire beautifully, the occasional surprise can still happen, and that's simply part of the process. Every potter, no matter their experience, has had pieces come out differently than planned. If that happens, we hope it encourages you to keep learning, refining your skills, and making more :)
