Friday Night One-Time Wheel Throwing for Beginners (Ages 14 to Adult)

$85.00

Experience Wheel Throwing in this 2-Hour Introductory Session!

This class is perfect for beginners who want to test drive the pottery wheel—whether you’re flying solo, planning a creative date night, or looking for a fun activity with friends.

You’ll get a hands-on introduction to the basics of wheel throwing, including how to center clay and shape it into a simple vessel. The goal is to give you a feel for the process and what it’s like to work with clay on the wheel.

While we can’t guarantee the outcome of your creations, each student is welcome to keep up to two pieces. We’ll glaze and fire them for you, and they’ll be ready for pickup in approximately 6–8 weeks.

• All materials and tools are provided
• Wear clothes and shoes you don’t mind getting a little muddy
• Aprons are not provided

Please arrive early. This class takes place on Friday evenings during the Monrovia Street Fair & Night Market in Old Town. Parking in the area can be limited, so we recommend giving yourself extra time to find parking and check in at the studio before class starts.
