Beginning Hand-Building | All Levels | Bathroom Set (4-Week Session)

$225.00

Students will learn to build a coordinated bathroom set including a lidded jar, toothbrush stand, and tray. The class covers the core hand-building methods of pinch, coil, and slab construction. Projects include a pinched closed-form jar, a coiled toothbrush stand, and a soft slab-built tray using origami-style darting and folding techniques. During the slab week, students may also add their choice of a rinse cup or elevated soap dish element to the set. Each step is guided with individual instruction and support throughout.

This class is open to all levels. Beginners will follow the full project, while returning students can continue building on previous work or evolve their ideas further with the help of their instructor. Please let your instructor know at the beginning of class if you intend to work more independently.

Course format:

4 weekly sessions (2 hours each)

Included with your registration:

• Approximately 12 lbs of clay

• Glazes and firing services (additional fees apply for pieces larger than 6” in any direction)
