Wheel 2 | All Levels | Coffee Pour Over Set (4-Week Session)

$225.00

For students who have completed Wheel 1. This four-week class focuses on creating a coordinated pour-over coffee set that may include a dripper, pitcher, and mug. Instruction covers pulling handles and attachments, forming a spout, and throwing or shaping a pour-over cone. Students will continue developing their wheel-throwing skills through guided demonstrations and hands-on practice, with individual support provided throughout. Returning students are welcome to build on previous projects or work independently with instructor guidance.

Prerequisite:

While not required, it is recommended that students can confidently center 2.5–3 lbs of clay in order to create a full-size pitcher.

Course format:

4 weekly sessions (2 hours each)

Included with your registration:

• Approximately 12 lbs of clay

• Glazes and firing services (additional fees apply for pieces larger than 6” in any direction)

• Studio tools provided during class sessions

• Access to open studio time for practice between classes

Tool Policy Update:

Due to recent changes in import taxes, we are no longer able to offer a free set of tools with class registration. Tools will still be available for use during class sessions, but not during open studio hours. We offer quality tool kits for sale at the studio, or students may bring their own tools purchased from an art supply store or online.

What to bring:

Wear clothes you don’t mind getting dirty and closed-toe shoes.

Long hair should be tied back, and short nails are recommended for wheel work.

Students are encouraged to bring their own apron and hand towel.
